Hi, I’m Knuckles!   I’m one and a half years old and I weigh 46 pounds.   I am great with people and will hang on your every word.   I am super smart and really aim to please.  I like most dogs (if they have manners) but don’t know if I like cats or not...I haven’t met any yet.

I can be a real wise guy, so I need a pet parent who can give me structure, consistency, and boundaries.   I am crate trained and can learn just about anything you want to teach me.

I was found on a highway in Kansas running up and down the center looking for my family.  Now I am just looking for my new forever home.

“CJ” is 3 years old and a 2nd generation LabraDoodle.   She loves car rides and going on hikes and her favorite place is Camp Bow Wow.   Her favorite food...bananas!   She will even steal the peel if you aren’t careful.   She knows commands such as sit, down, stay, leave it, and shake.   And she walks really well on a leash.   She has to eat a chicken-free diet and needs to have her ears cleaned on a regular basis in order to prevent ear infections.   She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations.   “CJ” is fine with cats and plays well with other dogs.   She loves her bones and eats raw buffalo bones on a regular basis.   She was physically abused in her previous home, so she can be a bit ‘hand shy’ at times.  “CJ” weighs about 70 pounds and would love for you to give her a new forever home!

Nico is a sweet 2-1/2 year old Pit bull/possibly lab mix. The poor boy was bounced around from one inexperienced home to another, leaving him feeling lost and confused. He's in a temporary home now, where he LOVES the little kids and the more they play with him the happier he is. He does ok with other dogs but does best with female dogs, and one that is energetic enough to keep up with his playful ways. He'd be fine as an only dog too. The elderly Min Pin in his temp home does not appreciate his energy and Nico just doesn't understand why not. His foster dad has been teaching him basic commands and to walk on leash. Nico is super smart so professional training is a must so this boy can reach his full potential. Since this training thing is all new to him he's still got a few quirks to work on, but don't we all? He's house trained, has good house manners and is a great, loyal family dog. His perfect home would be active, take him to training and give him the love and attention he deserves

Hi, my name is Belle and I am a spayed Beagle Mix, with a dash of Pit Bull, Jack Russell, and Blue Heeler.   I am four-years-old, have been very well taken care of, and I am on a special diet to keep me happy and healthy.   I am up to date on all vaccinations, I’m house trained, and have been microchipped.  I would do best in a home with no kids and no other dogs, as I’m sometimes fearful of both and prefer to be the center of attention.    I am full of energy, love to play fetch, go on long walks and hikes in the mountains, and I love to chase the tennis ball!

You will crack up when you see me “army crawl” on the grass or running like crazy in your backyard!   I also love to snuggle and will be your best friend.   I will even let you give me a tummy rub.    Oh, and I do like going for car rides...and prefer to ride “shotgun”!

Hi, my name is Daisy!    I think I am around nine years old.  I was rescued by my first pet parent and lived with her for a year or so, but then she passed away!  Her neighbor adopted me for another year, but then, she passed away, too!   Now, I am in a foster home waiting for you to come get me!   I love playing with squeaky toys, sitting on your lap, rubs on my belly, and just hanging out with you!   We can go on walks, you can give me tasty bone treats, and I will shower you with love and attention!    Won’t you please give me a new forever home?!

Sport and Button are both 5 year old Pekingese doll bugs!!!! Button is female and Sport is male, and they have been together forever. They are both indoor dogs but like to be taken out for walks regularly. They sleep together and frequently use each other as a pillow! (They like to curl up together in a very large plastic crate ... it's really quite adorable!)  

Button takes longer than Sport to warm up to strangers but comes up to her foster mom excitedly now, and she loves to play with toys and take them to bed with her. She spends a little less time with her foster parents than Sport. Sport loves to be held and snuggles into you when you pick him up. He is not as inquisitive or eager as Button, but he makes up for it with love. His eyesight is a little bad and that can slow him down sometimes, but at other times you wouldn’t even notice it. 

Both of them are missing a few teeth so they get softened food. (It doesn't slow them down much for crunchy things, though!) They are working on their leash manners and they ride well in the car. Sport is still trying to figure out what stairs are, so he would do best where he wouldn’t have a lot of stairs to maneuver.

They are getting more secure around people now, and both are good with kids. Sport especially loves kids as long as they know how to treat dogs kindly and respectfully. 

Button and Sport currently live with other dogs and cats and enjoy the company of both. On several occasions their foster mom has come into a room to see a fur pile of dogs and cats curled up on the couch together!

These two sweethearts definitely need to stay together. If they are out of each other’s sight for very long they get upset (even just long enough to get bathed). They did not have much attention in their first home, so they learned to rely on each other. With a little time, love, and patience they will warm up wonderfully to their new "forever family," just as they did with their foster family.

Hi, my name is Bogie and I am seven years old and am in excellent health!

My current pet parents have raised me since I was a puppy, but now one of them needs a kidney transplant, and can no longer give me the attention and life I deserve.  I love going on walks and am friendly and playful with other dogs.   I know several commands including sit and stay and will show you more if you give me a treat!    I love to play with my favorite toys and love playing fetch, although sometimes I like to keep the toy and play all by myself.   

If you give me a belly rub, I will be your best friend!

I’m good in a car and have even been on a cross-country trip.   

Snow and water are OK, however cats and thunder rub me the wrong way.
